Could I Live There?

Could I Live There? is the fresh addition to the Travel Channel’s unscripted documentary series lineup. Coming from the production company Karga Seven Pictures, Could I Live There premiered in the US on January 19, 2016.

The idea of the reality-series is simple but original. Could I Live There was made to help families decide if they are ready to move to a different locations when such need appears. With the help of pro relocation experts, the families, which we follow in each episode of the program, get three days to travel to the strange spot that might become their new home, and after this test trip they have to make a decision. In season 1 the families travel to such places as Medellin, Tokyo, Geneva, Panajachel, Istanbul and many others. The debut episode of Could I Live There takes a look at the family that was considering a move to Istanbul after they got literally mesmerized by a beautiful traditional dancing.

Speaking of the ratings, the new travel program drew in less than 0.4 million viewers for the premiere, but suffered no rating decline yet. It is quite natural if we consider the high quality of the reality-program. The reviews are mostly positive, so there is a very good chance that the experiment will be greenlit for season 2.
