High School of the Dead

High School of the Dead is another computer generated series coming from Japan and another addition to the lineup of apocalypse series.

The plot of High School of the Dead revolves around students from a high school in Fujimi, who managed to stay alive after the zombie apocalypse. The survivors had to experience violent fights with slaughterous creatures and observe their world becoming a living hell. The manga series has not garnered critical accolades in Japan, though the viewers from Russia and America hope to see the sophomore chapter of the horror story.

High School of the Dead has made use of many elements, which are common for popular horrors, as "Resident Evil", “Warm Bodies” and “The Walking Dead”. In this series viewers saw an impressive villain corporation and an unconquerable and quick to spread zombie virus.

Season 1 of High School of the Dead did not have the storyline closure. Moreover, a lot of followers spotted in the additional thirteenth part of the initial chapter "Wandering Dead" a tiny hint of a possible continuation of the story.

But unfortunately, the producing company has not announced the renewal of zombie manga series yet, and its fans are still waiting eagerly.
