In the Cut

In the Cut is a fresh US sitcom coming from the production studio Bent Outta Shape Productions Inc. and available on the Bounce TV network. This channel is considered to be one of the most popular American channels manufactured to the African American audience. In the Cut is a brainchild of Bentley Kyle Evans (Family Time, Martin) who was also one of the producers for the family series. The situational comedy premiered on August 25, 2015 and quickly became one of Bounce TV’s best-loved performers.

The In the Cut plot revolves around a famous barber Jay Weaver. He lives and works in the San Diego area and finds out that he has a son. The infant is thirty years old now and he is eager to build a relationship with Jay, who hasn’t even know he has a son.

In fact, modern TV abounds with easy-to-watch entertaining series like that, and some experts consider In the Cut characters and storyline hackneyed and predictable. However, the viewers don’t share this opinion as the sitcom is holding 8.3 out of 10 on IMDb and has garnered its loyal fans. Unfortunately, not very many so far. We hope the creative team will find a way to make In the Cut more interesting to watch and the series will do better in the rating departments.
