Released Married by Mom and Dad - 27.11.2016
Married by Mom and Dad is one of the newest additions to the lineup of the TLC’s original reality series. Coming from Thinkfactory Media, the program first hit the small screen on December 13, 2015. Married by Mom and Dad is one of the most romantic TLC’s shows alongside Love at First Kiss, 90 Day Fiancé and Say Yes to the Dress.
It has a very unique idea in the basis - a social experiment which uses an old tradition of arranged marriages. In our hectic life, people have no time to build healthy relationships and they go to speed-dating, blind dating, Skype dating and what-not dating. Parents, who wish all the best for their children, go to stand at the helm and set out to seek a match for them. In the program, Moms and Dads meet and question the potential couples for their thirty-something infants before introducing the final ones to the children.
The romance, a bit of good humor and the hope of love, which the program abounds in, makes Married by Mom and Dad mostly watched by the 18-29 and 30-44 years old female audience. And though the experiment itself seems weird (isn’t it risky to trust your personal life to anybody, even your parents?), the program is getting more and more popular and we hope that a lot of happy families will be created with the help of Married by Mom and Dad.
