No Offence is a hilarious television police procedural dramedy that comes from British production studio Abbott Vision. The experienced creative team includes

writer Paul Abbott (Shameless, State of Play, Best of Both Worlds), who also stand behind the series as its creator and exec producer alongside Martin Carr (Vacuuming Completely Nude in Paradise, Clubbed). Season 1 of No Offence was released in Great Britain on May 5, 2015.

The storyline of No Offence revolves around a group of police officers who all have one thing in common – they wonder what wrong turn they took in the road of life to happen to be where they are now, in the unlovely area of Manchester. The major characters featured in the series are DI Vivenne Deering (Joanna Scanlan, known for her roles in Stella, The Thick Of It, Puppy Love), DC Dinah, DS Joy Freers, DC Spike Tanner, Randolph Miller DSupt Darren Maclaren (Colin Salmon, known for Arrow, 24: Live Another Day), DCI Christine Lickberg, PC Tegan Thompson, PC Stuart O'Connell, PC Jonah Mitchell and PC Taz Ahmed. All of them are individual and have their own story to tell.

The series is packed with amusing and truly embarrassing scenes like mixing up vaginal spray with mouth spray and so on. The writer of No Offence, Paul Abbott, once said that the series was ‘a precinct cop drama’ and one of the most amusing projects he had ever worked at, it lurched 'from jet black laugh-out-loud into fragile material on the turn of a sixpence.’
