Playing House

Playing House is an American single-camera sitcom available on the USA network. Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham, the creators of the series, perform as female leads of it as well. Playing House comes from studio Universal Cable Productions and such experienced exec producers as Scot Armstrong (Road Trip, Hangover 2, Starsky & Hutch), Judah Miller (All Start, American Dad!, King of the Hill) and Ravi Nandan (Hesher, Off Duty) and others. The premiere season of Playing House was firstly released in USA on April 29, 2014.

The storyline follows childhood best friends Maggie and Emma, who have grown up together in a wonderful town of Pinebrook, CT, and remain friends in their adulthood. When Maggie finds out her husband cheats her, she leaves him and goes to her best friend Emma. The two women are going to face a lot of adventures, as Maggie is pregnant, and upbringing a child will challenge both of them.

Season 2 of Playing House, which came out in August 2015, returned with an original window structure that will weakly allow the audience to preview next week’s series on their Video-On-Demand platforms. In the sophomore chapter of the story Maggie and Emma try to live as co-parents to little Charlotte. Here we also see colorful residents of Pinebrook, such as Emma’s first love interest Mark.
