The Art of More

The Art of More is a new but already widely popular drama series that is exclusively available on the on-line service Crackle in the US. Co-penned and developed by Chuck Rose, The Art of More series comes from production studios Muse Entertainment Enterprises, Laurence Mark Productions and Sony Pictures Television. Season 1 of the cutting-edge drama series debuted on November 19, 2015.

The Art of More takes an insight look at the dealings of New York auction houses. The series featuresDennis Quaid as Samuel Brukner, a rich New Yorker who created his real estate career by being tough and playing roughshod over other people’s interests. After earning all money that is possible to earn, Samuel wishes to collect pieces of art. And here he meets Graham Connor, a used-to-be Iraq soldier, who is now exporting antique art with the help of information and people he got to know during his military service.

Season 1 solid viewership numbers stimulated the Crackle service to greenlight The Art of More for a sophomore season just ten days after the premiere. The series has attracted more than 2.4 million viewers, but what’s even more impressive is that nearly 60% of those who watch The Art of More have never visited the service before. The critics praise the series as well, and it has even been nominated for 2016 DGC Craft Award. No doubt, the producers will not kill their cash cow and The Art of More will be picked up for lots of installments in the future.
