Last Man Standing

Last Man Standing is another family sitcom that has become the viewers’ darling. The series hails from 21 Laps-Adelstein Productions, Lyonsberry Productions (5th season) and 20th Century Fox Television. It’s been broadcast on the ABC network since fall 2011. Created by Jack Burditt, Last Man Standing is exec produced by a well-known actor and film-makerTim Allen (Home Improvement, Toy Story), Becky Clements (Family Album,Aquarius), Marty Adelstein (Hanna, Prison Break) and others.

The plot of Last Man Standing is devoted to the man who tries to survive in the emancipated world of nowadays. Mike Baxter (played by Tim Allen) works as a Marketing Director of a sport store and has only women in his household: a wife and three daughters. The series has become a critics’ darling and has enjoyed multiple awards and nominations, including a 2014 Primetime Emmy nomination in the category Outstanding Cinematography for a Multi-Camera Series. Speaking of the ratings, they are better than stable. Season 4, for example, averaged about 6.9 million viewers, which was a considerable rating increase when compared to season 3.

To the delight of millions of fans, Tim Allen's sitcom survived in the recent bloodbath of ABC’s series cancellation. Last Man Standing was picked up by the broadcasting network for season 6 in 2016, and we sincerely hope the series will continue to entertain us.
