Released Thicker Than Water: The Tankards - 05.06.2016
Thicker Than Water: The Tankards is a popular reality series that is telecast on the Bravo network. The series comes from production studios Sirens Media and John Doe Productions and executive producers Rebecca Diefenbach, Lucilla D'Agostino, Renard Young, Darren Tooth, Valerie Drescher and Caroline Self. Thicker Than Water: The Tankards came out on November 10, 2013.
The main character of the reality series is Ben Tankard, who can’t be introduced shortly. An ex basketball player, a gospel-singing and jazz-playing minister, Ben is also a head of a millionaire family. Ben’s family comprises his wife Jewel and their six children: Britney, Benji, Brooklyn, Cyrene, Shanira and Diamond. Ben is a believing man with many interests and he is sure that God wants his family to be rich. Religion plays a very important part in the Tankards' life, the second major interest for them is luxury.
Unfortunately, Thicker Than Water: The Tankards hasn’t become a smash hit and it is holding only 4.7/10 score on the IMDb. The Common Sense Media claims that the series conveys no positive message and at the same time ‘many of the themes focus on the family's wealth, and some difficult childhood issues are discussed, too’. One can’t ignore that the reality abounds in logos, so we know what labels to the rich prefer.
Season 3 of the program garnered about a million viewers, which is quite acceptable for Bravo. Now we are eager to learn whether Thicker Than Water: The Tankards will be greenlit for season 4.
