Grey’s Anatomy

Grey’s Anatomy is a long-running (since 2005) US drama series broadcast on the ABC channel and created by Shonda Rhimes. The medical romantic series comes from ABC Studios, ShondaLand and The Mark Gordon Company.

The story takes a look at the medical staff of Seattle Grace Hospital and their professional and personal lives. The plot is packed with drama, romance and tension and sometimes with special medical humor.

Since its premiere, Grey’s Anatomy has garnered critical accolades and an enormous fan numbers. The series has enjoyed a good lot of prestigious wins and nominations from demanding critics. The pilot episode of the series has been an enormous success, attracting more than 16 million viewers.

Noteworthy, episode 5 of the twelfth run of Grey’s Anatomy marked the 250th episode of the world-renowned series. To the network’s delight, season 11 has attracted more than 8 million viewers, and the following cycle did even better in the ratings department - 9.5 million fans. More than 168 thousand viewers have put their marks for the series on IMDb, where it goaled a good 7.7/10. Besides, 196 nominations and 65 awards, including 2 Golden Globes, a handful of Primetime Emmy Awards and Gold Derby Awards reflect the high popularity of Grey’s Anatomy.
